A term used to describe the necessary fluid used in Slime making. There are many Activator solutions available but the most common are made with a mixture of borax powder and warm water. Alternate Activator solutions are saline solution, liquid starch detergent (sta-flo or similar) and eye drops/eye wash.
A clear Slime that has been mixed with approximately 10-30% of either an opaque Slime or a colored clear Slime to achieve a swirled “avalanche” effect. To achieve this at home, place your clear Slime at the bottom of a jar and then layer your opaque Slime on top. Within 24-48 hours you will notice the Slime start to "avalanche" together. It creates a mesmerzing, swirled Slime effect.
Famous for its buttery, spreadable consistency. Butter Slime is a white or clear base Slime that has the addition of air dry clay / modeling clay. Depending on the type of clay used will determine the type of Butter Slime texture you will produce.
Bingsu beads are small plastic, straw like beads that are typically used in dress making. When incorporated into a clear or opaque Slime they produce a unique sound that cannot be recreated with any other beads.
Known for its airy, cloud like appearance, Cloud Slime is created by mixing instant snow powder with an clear or opaque Slime base. This Slime is known for being the hardest Slime to master and produce consistenly. Certain aspects like humidty, water content, emolliants and activator must be at an exact ratio, otherwise the Cloud Slime will not form and produce a smooth, even drizzle.
Cloud Cream (also known as Cloud Creme or Cloud Dough) is a cross between a traditional Cloud Slime and a Butter Slime. It has been altered to be a denser and creamier texture than its normal Cloud counterpart. Cloud Creams are known for being holdable, spreadable, easy to play with and the perfect Slime for beginners. They also have a very long shelf life which makes it an ideal Slime for anyone.
Fimo Slices are tiny pieces of clay, sliced thin, that have been artisically created by hand to look like common fruits, flowers, animals & more. Once Fimo "canes" are created by hand they are then sliced by hand or by machine.
Fishbowl Beads are small round plastic beads commonly used as decorative filler or at the bottom of an aquarium or fishbowl, hence the name! These beads create a unique crunchy sound within any clear or opaque Slime.
A clear or opaque Slime that has the addition of small foam beads/balls, typically to a ratio of 80% beads to 20% Slime. These foam beads can be found in sizes from small to large. Small foam beads are typically called "micro" foam beads and the largest type of foam beads measure over 1 inch wide! Depending on what size of foam beads are used will determine the texture and the sounds it will produce within Slime.
Not quite a Jelly Slime and not quite a Cloud Slime, Icee Slimes hover somewhere in between. An Icee Slime is created by starting with a Clear Slime base and adding a generous portion of hydrated instant snow powder to achieve a “frosty” “icee” consistency.
A clear based Slime that has a touch of hydrated instant snow powder to help give the Slime a “jelly” texture.
A clear based Slime that has cut up melamine erasers inside that gives the user the ability to squish the sponges inside the Slime.
A Slime that has the addition of plastic bean bag pellets inside to help give the user a crunchy Slime experience.
A Slime that has the addition of fake plastic snow which produces a very “sizzly” sounding Slime.
A clear Slime that has the addition of very small beads commonly called “diamond filler” which is a common vase filler found in many craft stores.
